Christmas blog hop and a new team member …

bloghop880

Good morning everyone and thanks for stopping by!

Today we are holding another of our design team blog hops to celebrate the launch of the new Christmas stamps
This is the first set in the 2013 Christmas collection and is an adorable mix of 16 cute characters which we think you are going to LOVE!
The stamps will be available to buy on the website from midday on Thursday July 25th (UK time) along with some fabulous new art pads and patterned papers

***

The LOTV design team are all joining in and you may have noticed that there is another new name on the list, we’re all thrilled to welcome to the team the lovely Kathy

Kathy

We’ve been looking for someone to work predominantly with our sentiments and background images
These stamps tend to get overlooked and are rarely the focal point of a card, it’s quite a skill to do this and yet still keep your work pretty and girlie (and you all know that here at Lili of the Valley we like to keep things as pretty as possible!)

Kathy makes the most beautiful cards and doesn’t generally use characters so she was the perfect choice to join and complement our already amazing design team

Kathy didn’t come on board in time to join in with the sneak peeks so before we start with them here’s one of the first cards she's made for us...

KONICA MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERA

KONICA MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERA

She’s used one of our new Quotable stamps (this one is in the Friendship set) and papers from our popular Country Lady pad
Lucy has another one of Kathy’s cards on Facebook this morning and she’ll also be joining in the hop with us so I hope you’ll all give her a big warm welcome

*

I’m sure you know what to do by now lol   ...just ‘hop’ from one blog to another following the links and leave a comment on each card, hopefully we can give you lots of ideas and inspiration along the way for using the stamps. Because the team is a bit larger now we’ve been able to show you all of the new images

There is a fabulous prize up for grabs on this hop, we don’t know where it is hidden so do make sure you that you visit and comment on every blog

We will let you know tomorrow evening which was the ‘lucky’ blog and a winner will be drawn at random from all the comments that were left on that blog

The prize is a full set of the new Christmas stamps...
…that’s 16 rubber stamps, one each of all the new designs!

*

Here's a list of all the blogs taking part, and remember that you will need to visit them all and leave a comment on each one to have the best chance of winning;

Ideas to Inspire (you’re starting here)

Righty, off we go with the Christmas stamps and this adorable image is called Christmas Prayer

...isn't this a lovely image?
On to my blog next and you can always start again here if you get lost along the way

Get Well Soon ….

Good morning crafters, thanks for stopping by and I hope you’re all having a lovely weekend

*

I have another card to show you today by our July Guest Designer Natalie, you’ve enjoyed seeing Natalie’s work and we’ve enjoyed having her because we know that she is a huge Lili of the Valley fan!

Natalie has used our ever popular Little Nurse stamp and a mixture of papers from our pads
The spotty one at the back is from Krafty Christmas and the others are in the Promises collection. I wouldn’t have thought to use the 2 sets together but they work really well with the colouring in the picture

Natalie will put the card on her own blog here so you can get the full details and also see more of her lovely work. I’ll have another card from her later in the month

*

That’s it from me, have a lovely Sunday and I’ll be back tomorrow with another sneaky peek for you

Polar Pair …

Good morning everyone, I hope you all have some nice things planned for the weekend
The good weather is still continuing here in the UK, that’s about 4 weekends in a row that we’ve had sun which is very rare!

I can’t get much crafting done because it’s like a sauna up in my attic  …but I’m not complaining!

*

I have another sneaky peek today and this is very different from the one I had to show you yesterday…
our Jen made this card and the stamp is called Polar Pair…

The image has worked perfectly with Jen’s CAS style and I love the bright colours she’s chosen

*

Something different tomorrow as it’s time for another card from our Guest Designer for July. That’s the lovely Natalie so make sure you find a few minutes to stop by!

Enjoy your Saturday x

Sneaky Peek …

Morning everyone, how exciting about us going back on the TV?
Make sure you keep an eye on here , Facebook and the website because as soon as we have any more news we’ll let you know!

***

Time for another sneaky peek of our new Christmas stamps and this was made by our very clever Elise
She used 2 of the stamps on her card, I would never have thought of this but it’s made such a sweet scene!

The little boy in the window is called ‘Feeding Robins’ and in his garden are our new ‘Snow Family’

She’s also made a lovely tag which tucks away, it’s got one of our Christmas Recipes and the little tags at the top are on the Christmas Mini Icon Tags sheet which is very useful. Elise does a few of these little tags and I think it’s a great idea, just adds a bit of extra interest to your card

The Let It Snow sentiment is on the Christmas Handwritten Phrases sheet

Hope you like it, I’ll have another one to show you tomorrow so make sure you stop by x
